A short distance from the Goombay House, you will find the 'Love Beaches'. The 'Love Beaches' are known for their beautiful pink sand and protected pool like rock and reef features. It is a great place to go for a walk and discover the hidden away beaches. This is also a wonderful place, to try out snorkeling for the first time in a calm pool like setting. The pictures here takes you on a short journey walking along the 'Love Beaches' and rocky shore. Further down the beaches, you will find a large ship wreck partially washed onto shore. To get to the 'Love Beaches' from the Goombay House, walk about 10 minutes south along the shore, or drive 1-2 minutes on the sandy and grassy road along the shore. The 'Love Beaches' are one of the places you must visit while in Long Island. |
